The WrEN project is a woodlands creation and conservation project involving more than 25 organizations in the public, private, academic and third sectors. I designed and facilitated their first ever conference three years after the project was formed, where they shared results, discussed strategies and proposed next steps. Keeping slide presentations to the bare minimum, the day included creative methods of engaging the different stakeholders and allowing all their voices to be heard and considered. The discussions were compiled at the end into clear actionable items for the organizers, who produced this blog to summarize the day.
“Having Sawsan facilitate our one day event was hugely beneficial to how the meeting ran, and on the stress levels of us as event organisers! It meant we could focus much more on the discussions and we feel we got a lot more out of it.”
